I used optus - was able to recieve calls / text messages but not make any or send any text messages. Wa snot able to resolve this problem and ended up getting a simpati card from a mobile store in bali which ended up much cheaper than optus anyhow.
On ringing up to complain back home in Oz I was told that it must have been the carriers fault -TELKNO ( there are three or four carriers in Bali/ Indo) and I could have switched to another HOWEVER Optus didnt tell me that nor did I recieve any intructions on how to do so in mail which apparently is the norm.
