outdoor bathroom in Seminyak, no problems. Outdoor bathroom in Ubud, a few mossies. Left hotel window open at night in Kerobokan and were definately harrassed by mossies, mostly because our room directly hung over a large outdoor still water fish pond.
The mosquito nets in a lot of hotels are more for decor i think as most tourists seem to turn the a/c on, shut windows & door to outdoor bathroom at night. I tend towards flinging windows open even in the middle of winter.
Got bitten a fair bit in Kuta towards sunset on one occasion only when i was shopping.
An outdoor bathroom is so wonderful, don't let a couple of mossies defeat you.
