bike rides suitable for kids? Best one

Am interested in taking the families 6 kids 8 - 14 and 4 ads on a bike ride have been reading a bit about these in recent forums and would like your recomendations for a good tour guide / company and what area the rides are in. Im particular the down hill ones. Are they suitable for kids re traffic and everything. Look forward to your comments and experiances thanks shell
