Hi, was there last Nov. we went over by Perama Ferry (local) i think it look about an hour, got pretty rough but it was fun.
We stayed at Jungutbatu Bungalows, next to Jungutbatu Village, two story bungalows, from ours you could see from the balcony and bedroom window down the garden to the beach, (a few hundred meters.) Great place to stay, no a/c but didn't reallty need it,has fridge, power goes out between 9am-3 or 4pm which was ok, we put bintangs in kitcken freezer at 4pm for a cold beer at 5 ! bathroom had western toilet, was basic but ok.
ours was a 'cultural visit' if you want to be more 'comfortable' head to Coconuts etc.
As Shaz said there is other cheap accom, well worth staying here for a few days
