I've always taken cash, and left it in our security box at the reception, just stick it in a envelope and keep a tab on how much you take out everyday, i think cash is the easiest. I even exchanged my money there aswell, worked out I was only losing 40c each time, instead of finding a exchange place....so much easier.....
