could be doing the same cost cutting thing as well and unless you worked for them you would never know. I watched a program where a plane went down killing all on board due to cost cutting by the way it was an alaskian airline. A guy who worked for them had voiced his concern a few years before and even resigned over it and at the end they said if you were a whistleblower you would never get to work in the industry again.
