We're staying at the Falcon hotel in Paddinton, it's about 2 mins away from the station, and about 5 mins from Hyde Park & Kensington Gardens. It's a really good cheapie, for 60 pounds a night. We're hoping to stay there 10 nights, and use it as a base for lots more walking around London. We were there for 10 days 3 years ago, and fell in love- for me it was going home! We saw a hell of a lot, but there was still a hell of a lot more to see, and then we also hope to take the trains out to a few nearby towns, and cities, like Oxford, Salisbury etc. I'm also tempted to try to get back to Edinborough, which was marvellous, but we jsut will not have the time. Then, we plan to do the typical 'tourist' thing, and go on a 12 day Trafalgar, tour through France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, and Holland. Wont we feel broke when we come home!!!
I reckon I watched every episode of Airport, and would have loved to meet them, the photographer would have loved the attention!
