Irina, I had problems with humidity in Bali and my digital camera, I had a Kodak. Twice the complete lens assembly had to be replaced because it totally packed up while away. This time I am going over with a Sony Cybershot, I have been told by a lot of camera freaks that Sony make the best digitals. Advice from the camera shop was to store those little sachets of silica gel in the camera bag to absorb the moisture. Advice from the forum was to keep the aircon off in the room if poss but when taking camera from air con room to outside, wrap it in a towel and leave it outside to adjust to the temp before turning it on.
