I loved Poppies on out first visit to Bali in 2000, after leaving our hubbies behind on a big shopping trek, took my girlfriend to Poppies for lunch... Very disappointed, calamari was that overcooked it was as tough as a rubber boot. It wasnt that busy at the time and the only good things were the relaxing atmosphere, the cold bintangs and the cold face washers. I won't be rushing back though.
