Just cruising through the forum & have made a few comments on restaurants I've visited on my last trip & I have drooled on some I have read about & missed. I just thought I'd add a comment on Poppies. All our family could'nt wait to go back to poppies & months ago agreed to have our 1st lunch there. Well, we were very disappointed, ambience (as usual) great. Food,bland a real let downservice slack & even the beer was cold !!!. Poppies is always expensive (for Bali) but thats not the point. We went back a week later & same thing.
This is really sad as Poppies is an icon, I have been going to the place for 20 years now so am gutted that standards have slipped so badly.
