Hello,

Thanks for your reactions.

And especially thanks to 'Inmyblood'. I found your JBR in the archives, and the story of your visit to Tjokorda Gede Rai was very interesting!

I think that TGR is a socalled 'Balian Urat Katakson', a traditional healer who is able to 'repair' energy disbalances with special massage-techniques, which are said to be (partly) based on 'taksu'(= access to a mysterious inner power that enables the healer to make precise and accurate diagnosis, and to give appropiate treatment which will cure the disease.

Sunshine4me,
Sunshine4U! The words written by you are very true!

Barong Naga.... Amigo! ;-)
Six out of eightteen reaction on Inmybloods JBR contained (positive) comments on her visit to that spiritual healer - that is one/third, or 33% of the total reactions. Maybe there is still 'hope' [with a wink] that Spirituality can be discussed here - despite the occasional big fuss and farts by the trolling few that linger here :-)

Spirituality is very present in Bali, and it is very real and powerful. As Inmyblood said, "it's very strong, thats what attracts so many people there is the energy, they just dont know it."
And if I may add, as time goes by more and more people seem to realize it, finally. The Balians are getting used to being visited by a growing number of interested westerners, every new day.

I do not doubt that (western) experiences a_r_e there.
The traditional healing of Bali appears to be VERY effective, it's almost like an un-advertised 'attraction' (read: something that attracts people).

Those individuals who feel the urge to use your experiences to wipe their behinds, without any respect, just let them. After all it's their choice. Their (re)actions cannot devaluate the effect and the importance of your experiences, unless your ego allows their negative reactions to devaluate it.

regards,
Taksu

P.S. - B.N., would you tell me about your experiences over martini's at N.N.'s?
