a few kilometres along from the main village of Kalibukbuk. As far as I know there is no surf in the Lovina stretch of 12 km or so. We enjoyed staying a the Villa Agung (about A$15 per night), and went out fishing with Nyoman of Warung Nyoman (on the beach at Anturan), snorkelling with Nyoman, Mrg. Villa Agung and looking for dolphins early morning sunrise in a prahu with Benny. The singaraja market is bustling and interesting, the food sold is very interesting (live chickens strung together in bunches of six by the feet), huge pieces of tuna fish, tiny dried fish, all sorts of vegetables and fruit, traditional cakes and things. We loved the Lovina area and the people are so friendly.
