that most places only did Babi-Guling on special occassions or that you had to order it the day before.
I didn't think you could just walk in & order it off a menu any day of the week .Have I got this wrong ?
Thanks for rubbing it in KarenL where you & yours will be on Christmas day! At least it's not me that cooks the food (other than the pudding) on Christmas day.Thank goodness for the Weber BBQ.Although no Roast Pork done in the Weber could taste as good as Babi Guling in Bali! I may have to get out my 2 new Balinese & Indonesian cook books & see how I can liven the Christmas day Pork up a bit.It's my turn for the family this year & I some how think that Black Rice pudding etc wouldn't go down too well with the family so I can't be too adventurous.
