Solo at Nusa Dua

Hi all
I'm accompanying my hubby on a conference to Nusa Dua in Oct (6 to 18).
As he's going to be busy during the day, I'm going to have to amuse myself. Does anyone have any suggestions for:
1. Best mode of transport. I was actually thinking of hiring a bicycle as I like to cycle.
2. Whether it's safe to cycle around by yourself? Would I be better to get taxis or whater?
3. Places to go?
We're staying at the Nusa Indah. If anyone has any impressions on that, I'd appreciate that too!
