I agree with a lot of what Deborah sats. Forget Jayakarts, if you can afford the Hyatt, there are plenty of 4-5**** places in Legion/Seminyak ie Hotel Imperial, Padma, Vila Rumah. As for the night life, pretty good that side of town, though it does kick off late (like me you may have to have a LLD late afternoon!!) I'll be there the same time and seeing I'm around the same era give me an email maggsmalu@yahoo.com. Surfing - Ulawata (hire car to get there), and Kuta/Legion. Snorkling around Amed (probably 4-5 hour drive away) restaurants everywhere.
CUriousity - what kind of business are you doing? (my trip is a little business, trravelling with a friend who is full on business, so I have to drag her out to have a bit of a holiday),
