Mid October, I'm due in Bali on business and will be staying at the
Hyatt for 3 nights. Myself and a colleague will be there. Thing is,
if we come all the way from the UK, we want to get a few days pleasure
in too!
Plan A is ...
Arrive 3-4 days early, find some reasonable accommodation (B&B, Hotel
whatever that is reasonably priced) in the more active part of Bali
(Kuta and Legian?). The idea is to be within easy reach of the happening areas even if not overnighting there. We also plan to be on the beach and in the sea, surfing, snorkelling etc.
We are 35 each and pretty outgoing.
We also plan to hire either scooters for 5-6 days while we are there
or maybe a suzuki jeep or similar.
Are any cool discos where guys that are almost past it can hang out, meet people and have a good time ?
What are the approxiamte costs and pitfalls?
Plan B
Is to stay in the Hyatt and hit town from there but I think that
may be an expensive and also not practical option. We can set that up
ourselves.
