Difficult question to answer not knowing exactly what you are looking for, however the Intercon is certainly BIG (as are most of the 5 star hotels on the south of the island) however the grounds are bigger than most (around 40 acres I think) and are truly magnificent. The position of the hotel is probably its biggest plus, right in the middle of Jimbaran Bay, which puts it well ahead of similar resorts in Nusa Dua (IMHO) Rooms are large and very well appointed (marble bathrooms etc.) as you would expect. Good selection of in house restaurants, especially the seafood restaurant near the beach,(excellent food, but expect to pay 5 star hotel prices) Very close to all the Jimbaran Beach cafes where the seafood is equally tempting and very much cheaper!!
The loft rooms are probably the best value as there are usually a few extra benefits thrown in. The hotel spa is absolutely beautiful. WWW.interconti.com has some good information and photos as does the hotel finder on this site.
In short very beautiful hotel, magnificent grounds, perfect location, excellent service (Sounds good so far!!) Everything you would expect of a 5 star hotel, plus a few nice "extras you would only find in Bali. I doubt you would be disappointed.
