We are taking the forum advise to pack lightly and plan to shop for wonderful clothes in Bali. However, among the few items we do pack, my travel companion is wondering if he should include long pants vs shorts. We will be in the Ubud area for 8 days doing day trips, and only in Sanur for one night. We understand the proper dress for temples, but would like to dress appropriately for daily touring as well. What works for hiking Batur, and still OK to dine at Indus? Thanks for all the great information on the forum, it has really helped.
