Software titiles Bali or Hong Kong

I have finally worked out my flight so I can have a one night stopover in Hong Kong on my way to Bali. I need to know if the software is available in english version to use in the USA and if it is cheaper in Hong Kong or Bali. I am looking for Office 2000, Photo shop etc. I had understood that it was but someone just emailed me to tell me the software is only in Chinese version. Is this correct? Thanks for the help.
