We have both snorkeled. We enjoyed it and think we would both enjoy scuba; our concern was how much of a time commitment it would be to try it for the first time. Do we have to get cerified? My understanding was that you do not have to, but then you are required to stay with your guide/group. Is this true? What should we expect?
Are you familiar with this area/hotel?
