Take it from a drunk, wine is alcoholic. Customs in Bali tend to be a bit petty and enjoy rumageing your luggage. We keep with us an old Garuda information sheet which say you can take in 2 bottles each. I don't think you can now but we take it for mittigation. I do not thick I can get away with 2 25 ltre bottles each, even though we go for a couple of months. (4 months to go) An old Balinees map I have states the longer you go the more you can take in. We stop at Singapore to stock up, don't bother with wine it is not ecoomical (where's that spell check) take whisky and buy the ginger ale when you are there. It make a nice evening drink before you dine out.
The only wine readily available in Bali is Austrailian (which when use to the frogs wine) we will not drink on principle. There is a local wine I forget the name (please can the forum plebs remind me) which is drink-able (when frozen to - 20 deg C)but the price varies from restaurant to restaurant. 50,000 is my maximum.
Most drink beer, I fing Bali Hi, better than Bintang, which give me indejestion. (spell check)
Enjoy your Holiday
