As newcomers to Bali, on your honeymoon ttip, I would recommend you to spend a couple of days at Ubud and enjoy its relaxed and calm atmosphere. All my guests usually spend half their sojourn near the beach, and the rest at Ubud where it is easier to start excursions (without spending too much time in the car). Ubud and the region around are much more typical, and very different from the South.
