About the zone codes and having the player "fixed" to play all zones, just be careful who you have do it. Some shops are just doing it as a customer request and it will negate your warranty. Make sure you ask about how it will affect the warranty before you have them open it up. And have them play DVD's from various studios ie, Warner Brothers, etc. as sometimes you have to change a code for different production companies and it isn't in the manual! Otherwise, your disc won't play!
