I have a new copy. The new one came out in November, (I think) anyway that's what my shop told me, and I had one of the first copies in. It has a picture of rice paddies on the front cover, the old one had a large stone head on the cover, so you can easily distinguish, because I can't find anywhere inside when it was published. You could get the old one in Bali in Feb (99) but not the new, and I suppose the new won't come in until they get shot of the old!
The maps are not good in it, but the prices aren't far out because they claim to have been there around the time of the trouble last year, and it reads as though they are telling the truth. (Except come to think of it, either they didn't check out the Lotus in Ubud, or else they weren't there at that time, because I was and the Lotus pond was already empty!)
