Don't have the 'phone number, but you could try the Puri Seka, which is down the hill towards the bridge , before you get to the Ibah, you go up a very steep drive way to the right (just before the shops begin again on the right, there are a few oposite on the left). My son stayed there last year for about £6.00 sterling, which must be about the right amount, it was clean it had a double bed, an ensuite bathroom, (don't know whether that had hot water or not.) They got a huge breakfast for this price too, and they were able to leave their luggage there when they went off to other Islands. I don't remember whether it has a fan or not, but it is higher than most buildings there, considerably higher than the Ibah for instance, and therefore probably wouldn't need one because it would get the breeze off the paddies. He didn't book, he just turned up and it was about the same time of year last year. Depends what time you arrive at the airport whether you would dare risk it. But it's about a 4 minute walk, even for someone not too fit into the centre of Ubud. and because it is up high a lot of people overlook the sign so maybe you will be lucky. Good luck!
