It's been very wet this year in Lombok which means it's definately the season for mosquitoes and Malaria. I agree that there seems to be something you can take when the symptoms arrive. That's what the locals do. I was there this time last year and took nothing and was fine. Covered up, lots of deet, and mosquito coils did the trick. Enjoy Lombok!
