Have to admit that was thought provoking reading. But even if it is not the real Bali, I have seen few better places for eating, diving, windsurfing, people watching and just having fun--as for getting laid, I can be forgiven if I do not comment. I do not know how many of us will settle in Bali and whether they will "do good"--but if so, does it really matter if what they did is not appreciated. But now I know that if I go to live there (which was not really ever under consideration) I better not give up my burial plot back home. Another question for the experts--is there any law or rule against non-Balinese being cremated or buried in Bali?
