I will be travelling from Chicago to Hong Kong in September. As a side-trip, my friend and I would like to fly from either Hong Kong or Thailand to Bali. I've heard that it's as much as $800 U.S. dollars to fly from Hong Kong to Bali, but that seems like a lot. Also, what should we expect to pay for a nice hotel there. We don't need the Four Seasons or Ritz-Carlton, but something pretty nice.
Lastly, as I will be travelling with another single person, what is the night life like in Bali? We are hoping to have a good time and are a little concerned that Bali will be filled with mostly married couples. Where are the best clubs to hit?
Any info you can supply me with will be greatly appreciated.
