My sugestion would be to book your room now, when they are not fully occupied. September is a busy month. You can bargain the price for your room, through the e-mail. I have done this and also, used e-mail for upgrades. It's the same as buying a gift. They will tell you a rate and you can make a counter offer. It just takes a little longer, when using e-mail. When I upgraded this trip, I asked how much for the upgrade? and when they e-mailed the cost - I e-mailed back that it was a bit high and made a counter offer. The next e-mail was the confirmation of the upgrade at the counter offered price.
