As far as I know, there is no problem in Bali with people of Chinese ancestry. Some of my Balinese friends have, on several occasions, made some remarks about Chinese-Indonesian, which indicated that they might have had a prejudice against them. However, in everyday life, there is no problem for Chinese people in Bali. There are many of them, from Tawan, visiting Bali all the time.
