Dont hire a car. I just got back 2 weeks ago. There arent any traffic laws over there. There are literally thousands of motor bikes most carrying 3 or 4 people at a time. At roundabouts its every man for himself. The stress level would kill you if an accident didnt. Hire a taxi or do as I did and hire a driver for a couple of days of your trip until you have time to get used to everything. I hired a driver via the forum and booked him via email.His email is namasiwa@hotmail.com and shamannbali@yahoo.com He was great His name is Wayan Nama.
