Customs clearly set out in their phamplets what is, and is not acceptable to be brought back into Australia, I always make a point in finding out if the list has changed, Australia is indeed a lucky country, and practically DISEASE FREE, and this is because CUSTOMS is sooooooo strict... I know its not a nice thing to have things taken away from you, but if people keep buying things that are endangered, we encourage Poaching..so I would encourage folks to find out before they go what is NOT allowed to be brought back in, we gotta look at the big picture "Keep Australia Free of Diseases, and Illegal Items"
