Patra Jasa is not suited to any watersports. The beach is not really suited to swimming. The actual hotel and facilities are great. Your kids will enjoy the pools, and the many other kids and kids club facilities. If you feel you really need the beach, maybe you should look at Legian, nth of Kuta.
