The rooms at the Patra Jasa are HUGE. Plenty of room for the family without the crowded feeling. Rooms are divided into two main areas, bedroom and living area with fold down couch. Each room has 2 tvs with cable and Cartoon network which great for the little ones(and parents) when they were tired out and just wanted to relax. The kid's club is complementary and fun. We never booked our son (4 at the time) into any of the full day activities, but when we went to the pool, he loved to join in anything going. It amused him, and gave us a little time to unwind without watching over him constantly close to the pool. The pools are great. There are three pools..an adult's only one with waterfall tucked away ,and the children's pool with swim up bar(great for the parents watching the kids)Children's pool is a good size and is graduated so there is a small kiddies area as well as the main area which is more than deep enough for the parents to enjoy as well.Next door to this was the main pool.
Balinese really adore children and our normally shy son, showed no qualms at being cared for and interacting with the locals. At one restaurant were we got to know the manager the staff offered to look after him whilst we showed our teenage daughters a local disco. When we went back to get him, he was having the most marvellous time and didn't want to leave his new found friends. Even nearly a year later, he talks of Bali constantly and asks "can we go to bali today?". We are going back in the next couple of months and will definitely be going back to the Patra Jasa.
It's also close to the shopping of Kuta .
