We stayed there our first night in Bali (read about it in the New York Times), and were planning to stay at someplace like the Four Seasons at the end of our trip when we returned to the beach. However, we saw the Four Seasons and found that while the rooms were clearly nicer, it lacked the charm of the Tandjung Sari, and so we spent the last 2 nights back at the Tandjung Sari.
Highly recommend it. However, the food is expensive there (the most expensive that we encountered in Bali), and not amazing. There is a new restaurant across the street called Village (out the driveway, turn right, go a block or so and it's on the other side of the street).
