Now I have three more questions if you don't mind:
1) What are current one way airfares DPS-CGK?
2) If we enter Indonesia from Singapore without already having return tickets in hand (that is, intending to purchase them in Indonesia), how likely are we to be (A) refused entry; (B) forced to buy an expensive ticket on the spot; or (C) asked to pay a bribe to overlook the rules? (I might add that my husband and I are middle aged college professors, since I've been told appearance makes a difference.) We've been discussing this issue recently on rec.travel.asia as well as by e-mail, and while many people say they've never been asked to show a return ticket, others have reported the reactions I just listed. We much prefer to wait and buy the return ticket in Yogya or Bali if possible, but if it is likely to cause a lot of trouble not to have it when we enter the country, we may just need to buy it in Singapore. Our problem is that we are staying in Indonesia over 30 days, so round trip fares from Singapore are too expensive.
3. If we DO wait till we get to Bali to buy the return ticket, where should we go for the best price and most reliable bookings -- regular airline ticket offices or travel agents, and if an agency then which one?
