Hi Natasha,
a KIMS -- which has been renamed KITAS -- is a permit
to stay in Indonesia for one year. Application is usually
made by a company which wants to employ you. After receipt
pf the KITAS you have to apply for a working permit.
To live in Bali for more than a few months you need a KITAS
which means you need to be employed by a local company.
Possibilities of finding a job depend on your profession.
Marrying an Indonesian citizen does NOT entitle you to live
in Indonesia.
