It is pretty much an unwritten rule here that you do not park in front of an establishment unless you intend to shop in there.So the easiest thing to do is wander into the shop,have a look around then leave and go to the shop you really wanted to go into.You will get a good 10 minutes free parking until the shop keeper starts to become disgruntled.This rule applies to everyone except the Balinese who will happily abandon a car anywhere for as long as they like.
