Look at Myers or DJs and see what they have on sale. Then buy one month or less out from traveling and also get your GST back (via TRS at the airport). We purchased the very expensive but super lite and strong top of the line Samonsite hard-shell and ended up with a total off 50% off. Their cabin luggage is superb as well.
