the eligibility rules are something like:
1. Must have lived and worked in Oz for 20 odd years (prorata pension if less)
2. Must be resident for 2 years immediately prior to applying for a pension
3. You get the pension no matter which country you choose to live in but you don't get some allowances and your medicare eligibility expires after 6 months living overseas.
