if they are Westernized it will be like any western wedding and the gift suggestion will be in the invite, also what to wear. Will depend on what religion they are marrying under as to what etiquette and if they are having a traditional Balinese wedding there will be a time on one day of the wedding that you will be invited and it is expected you do not stay for longer than the time spent with the bride and groom for small talk, a photo if you want one and then eat your meal and then go, that is so they can spend time with their guests on the next "shift time". At this sort of event you put the money in the box at the front in an envelope as others have described. There will not be alcohol served and it would be expected you wear traditional clothing. If it's not traditional you can stay and get annoyed by the drunk uncle just like any other wedding and you can take a gift, if you want to give money the envelope goes to the bride.
If they are close friends and the invite is not the clue just ring and ask them.
