Hi stayed in bali a month last sept and got out of legian for the Ramadan Elfitri (cant spell it!) On return to legian we stayed at the All Seasons for a bit. We had booked for 3 thru a website and all was fine. We extended the stay there and rebooked thru a website as it was cheaper than at the desk price. The website i booked with the 2nd time didn't have a drop down box for a triple so i booked it anyway. WELL!!!!! The staff were not going to let the 3 of us continue to stay on in our room, unless we payed $15 for the single bed. Get a load of this - they sent a staff guy around to remove the single bed, when i refused to pay the difference as they just didn't get - or didn't care to try to understand what i was telling them about the internet booking page and the options it presented. I think they had just got greedy with all the bookings over ramadam, as it was full, this is the perception i got. So i told them the two 16 year old boys would stay and i would go and stay in Jl. Mataram with a Balinese family i look after. So the staff decided to leave the bed in the room as i was going. Of course i came back and slept at night and when they would ring in the morning to check how many people used the room I replied only 2, i have come early to see them at breakfast time. such a ridiculous situation - they must try this policy of an extra$15 a bit. many other better places to stay!
