How about Kanoa?
Just north of Jl. Padma, this is one of the permanently built warung/restaurants set just off the beach path.
With all the benefits of being on the actual beach, this is beach drinking and dining in the shade and without the sand in the shoes.
Easy parking if required and already popular, it's a bit more expensive than drinking on the beach, but makes a nice change.
Bintangs are priced at 35k (small), but there is a tax and service component making it just a bit more expensive than the beach traders.
A very good Pork belly roll in the Vietnamese style comes in at 95k, also with tax added.
A pleasant couple of hours spent with sun setting over a crimson horizon.
I will return!
