Definitely ask for poolside bungalow unless you'd like your own pool. The hotel pools close at about 6.00-6.30pm so if you'd like to swim/cool off before bed get a bungalow with a pool. Booking direct with hotel you'll have more chance getting what you want depending on prior bookings, it has a lot of returnee guests so gets booked up in advance. If walking is not your thing ask for room nearer to reception or dining restaurant. Remember though you may get more noise in these areas. Bring milk with you if you like a cuppa in your room & arrive too late for shops, although I expect you could get some through room service. The rooms I think you are after are called luxury bungalow.
