With reports of dengue being non the rise I have been pleasantly surprised by the absence of mosquitos generally about the place.

Riding through Kuta Square yesterday I noticed a new café opened on the same side as Dulang close to the Bags watch shop.
Kuta Square is certainly on the up after a period of inactivity.
New businesses around and the Matahari site still awaiting a tenant or a remodel.
Kartika Plaza is also busy.
I went down to Lippo and turned into Gang Samudera which is the small lane down the side.
Stopping at Warung Gilmore I found cold beer and a decent menus.
Nice burgers and I tried a very good mixed salad dish.
There was a juice bar opposite that was well patronised, but I didn't go in.
The evening was spent sitting in a small lane in an artists little booth having a few beers and a chat about the struggles of survival for some in Bali.
