The last few days spent riding around, Herman Beach to Seminyak spots, evaluating what's going on.
In short....plenty!!
Morning walks at 6am reveal beaches with the tide in, so not the usual wide expanses.
On Sunday morning many firework shells on the beach indicating celebration of sorts. Also, regrettably some locally generated rubbish, swiftly dealt with by the groomer and work crews.
Not much, but its frustrating when mie cups and similar small PLastics aren't disposed of responsibly.
At 6am, there are already many surfers warming up or out on the waves.
People walking dogs, domestic tourists taking happy snaps and others just happy to be part of the start of another Sunset Coast day.
Kartika Plaza has been busy with big sports bars packed in the afternoons.
Any semblance of the "dead as a doornail" sort of chat is well gone now as the tourist strip returns to normal.
Hotels have solid bookings and confidence is seen in new development and investment all around.
I have met with friends at Sugar Rays and Tommy, and both were packed.
Had a run to Denpasar this morning to show a friend Puputan Square and the Museum area.
Dinner last night at Legian food court and Clarke and Young.
Excellent as always and I enjoyed riding my 10 meters on the footpath to get there.
No animals or humans were endangered in the process.
The big development in Poppies One hasn't really kicked along, so not sure what the hold up is.
All lifts in KTH are working now and some live ins have returned to their apartments and some guests are also staying.
Some sort of normality has been restored, but many lease holders have been deprived of their apartments.
A lesson for those wishing to invest in similar.
All good for now and so good to see all predictions coming to pass.
