Can cancel uber within a certain time limit, like maybe 5 minutes no charge. Otherwise 10,000. Taxi drivers know the hotels and one way streets, uber drivers don't. I've always been recredited the cancellation fee when the waiting time has gone from say 10 minutes to a lot more as they have gone the wrong way.
