This is a tough question as both have their benefits.
My opinion however would be to get two well placed Premier Deluxe Rooms.
5 people in a loft room would be a lot. The loft rooms i have seen are along the northern boundary of the west wing of the hotel.
Most of the Deluxe Premier are around the chill out pool but i believe some are also in other parts of the hotel.
Last time we stayed we had a Premier Deluxe on the very western edge of the west wing (rather than facing the chill out pool) as it was the quietest to get our young son to sleep.
We love the Hard Rock but dont expect much Balinese character - it is a big modern style hotel with awesome staff in a great location where you canpractically walk to everything - great stuff !!!
