I was there last week (for my first visit to the Telkomsel shop) and the place is trashed. The escalators at one end were closed, the 2nd floor was a mess. The only part that looked any good was the separate part to the south with all the name brand sections like Myer/David Jones in Aus.
The Lippo Mall Hypermart is pretty much brand new and easier to get a taxi back from too. Mal Bali Galeria was full of "fixed price" taxis because they knew I was pretty much stranded out there.
