It really is a beautiful place. Ignore the geriatrics from the concrete jungle of Kuta. Sanur scares them. They came over to see me a few years ago and the panic in their eyes was amazing to see.
They asked me things such;
"What's that"
It was a tree.
"What's that"
It was a chicken.
"What's that"
It was an Australian under 25 who was not pissed.
"What's that"
It was a clean ocean.
The whole culture shock was too much for them. They drank 3 of my beers and returned to the concrete. As I recall they refused to pay for the drinks.
